The Green Hornet

An American superhero comedy film released in 2011, directed by Michel Gondry and written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, is based on the 1936 radio character created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker. The story follows Britt Reid (Seth Rogen), a carefree heir to a major Los Angeles newspaper, who, after the sudden death of his father James Reid (Tom Wilkinson), unexpectedly becomes the head of the publication. Simultaneously, Britt hires Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz) as his secretary, unaware of her analytical abilities that aid them in their investigations. As events unfold, Britt and Kato face internal conflicts and external threats, including corrupt district attorney Frank Scanlon (David Harbour), leading to a tense climax.
