The Notebook

A 2004 romantic drama film directed by Nick Cassavetes, based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. In a nursing home, an elderly man known as Duke (James Garner) reads from a notebook to a woman (Gena Rowlands), telling the love story of young Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams).
