The Tower of the Swallow

A 1997 fantasy novel and the fourth book in the main Witcher saga. Ciri, gravely injured after escaping the Rats gang, finds refuge with the hermit Vysogota in his secluded forest hut. As she recovers, she recounts the events that led her there—her time with the Rats, being hunted by the ruthless bounty hunter Bonhart, and the brutal trials she endured. Meanwhile, Geralt and his companions continue their journey south, facing numerous perils in their quest to find Ciri. The war between the Northern Kingdoms and Nilfgaard intensifies, with political schemes threatening to shift the balance of power. At the same time, Ciri increasingly feels the pull of destiny, drawing her toward the mysterious Tower of the Swallow, a place that holds the key to both her past and her future.
