Season of Storms

A 2013 fantasy novel set before the main events of The Witcher saga. Geralt of Rivia becomes entangled in a complex conspiracy after being deceived and losing his legendary swords. His journey takes him to the kingdom of Kerack, where he encounters scheming sorcerers, corrupt rulers, and formidable enemies. Along the way, he meets the enigmatic sorceress Lytta, whose true role in his fate remains uncertain. Amidst court intrigues, Geralt must battle terrifying monsters, uncover ancient secrets, and navigate a ruthless world where the lines between good and evil are blurred. Although written long after the conclusion of the main saga, this novel retains Sapkowski’s signature style and expands on the rich universe of The Witcher.
