A 1979 American Western comedy directed by Hal Needham, the film is a parody of classic Westerns infused with cartoonish humor reminiscent of "Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner." The story follows the bumbling outlaw Cactus Jack Slade (Kirk Douglas), hired by corrupt banker Avery Simpson (Jack Elam) to rob heiress Charming Jones (Ann-Margret), who is escorted by the naive and good-natured cowboy Handsome Stranger (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Jack's numerous attempts to steal the money involve elaborate traps and schemes, all of which fail due to his own incompetence and the interference of his intelligent horse, Whiskey. Meanwhile, Charming tries to seduce Handsome, who remains oblivious to her advances. In the climax, after yet another failed robbery attempt, Charming kisses Jack, leading him to exuberantly celebrate. The film is filled with comedic situations, absurd gags, and a satirical take on the Western genre.
