Thirteen Lives

A 2022 American biographical disaster drama film directed by Ron Howard. Based on true events from 2018 in Thailand, when a youth soccer team and their coach became trapped in the Tham Luang cave system due to sudden flooding. The film meticulously portrays the large-scale rescue operation involving Thai military personnel, volunteer divers, and international specialists. The story centers on British divers Rick Stanton (Viggo Mortensen) and John Volanthen (Colin Farrell), who are called in to assist in locating and saving the boys.
