Universal Soldier

A 1992 American science-fiction action film directed by Roland Emmerich. The story revolves around the "Universal Soldier" project, a top-secret government program that reanimates dead soldiers, turning them into obedient cybernetic warriors stripped of emotions and memories. The main characters, Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) and Andrew Scott (Dolph Lundgren), were soldiers who perished in Vietnam in 1969. Luc, an honorable and principled soldier, tried to stop his deranged sergeant, Scott, from massacring innocent villagers. Both died in the confrontation, but their bodies were recovered and repurposed as part of the UniSol program. The final battle between Luc and Scott takes place on an abandoned farm, where Luc triumphs over his enemy and ultimately breaks free from the program’s control.
