Worms W.M.D

A turn-based tactical game in the Worms series, developed by Team17, returning to the classic 2D style while introducing new mechanics such as drivable vehicles and stationary turrets. The gameplay follows the traditional Worms formula, featuring battles between teams of worms on destructible maps, where players use a vast arsenal of weapons, including iconic grenades, bazookas, and kamikaze sheep. For the first time in the series, a crafting system allows players to create upgraded versions of weapons during battle. Worms can also enter buildings, using them as cover or strategic vantage points. The game includes a single-player campaign, as well as local and online multiplayer modes. Worms W.M.D was praised by players and critics for its return to the franchise’s roots, stylish hand-drawn visuals, and deep strategic gameplay.
