Worms Battlegrounds

A turn-based tactical game in the Worms series, developed by Team17, and the largest installment in the franchise at the time, featuring expanded multiplayer modes and an improved engine. The game utilizes 2.5D graphics with detailed environments and dynamic effects, including realistic water physics. The gameplay stays true to the classic Worms formula, where teams of worms battle on destructible arenas using a vast arsenal of weapons and strategic maneuvers. For the first time in the series, clan-based play was introduced, allowing players to team up, along with built-in voice chat functionality. In addition to multiplayer, the game includes a single-player campaign with missions and puzzles.
