Soviet and Russian rock band founded in 1991 in Russia. The founder and permanent leader of the group is Valery Zhukov, who serves as the vocalist, guitarist, and main songwriter. The band gained widespread recognition for its unique style, combining elements of rock, pop, and folk music, as well as for its memorable melodies and ironic lyrics. The group achieved peak popularity in the late 1990s with the release of the hit "Batareyka," which became their signature song and brought them nationwide fame. In 2000, the band received the "Golden Gramophone" award for the song "Tankist." Their discography includes studio albums "Batareyka" (1999), "Podruga Druga" (2002), and the remix album "Na Kryzhopol Povorot" (2004), as well as compilations "Boltik v Gaechku" (2004) and "Raznoe" (2016). Other well-known songs include "Vlechenie," "Podruga Druga," "Yogurty," "Komariki," and "Razlyubila." The band continues to perform actively at concerts and festivals, remaining a significant presence on the Russian music scene.
