A League of Their Own

The narrative focuses on Carson Shaw (Abbi Jacobson), a housewife from Idaho who leaves her previous life to pursue her dream of playing baseball, and Maxine "Max" Chapman (Chanté Adams), an African-American pitcher facing racial and gender barriers in her quest to join a professional league. The series delves deeply into themes of racism, sexuality, and gender identity, featuring a diverse cast of characters including Greta Gill (D'Arcy Carden), Lupe García (Roberta Colindrez), Jess McCready (Kelly McCormack), and Esti González (Priscilla Delgado).
