Blue Mountain State​

The 2010 American comedy television series, created by Chris Romano and Eric Falconer, centers on the lives of students at the fictional Blue Mountain State University, focusing on the football team known as the "Mountain Goats." The narrative follows three freshmen: quarterback Alex Moran (Darin Brooks), linebacker Kevin "Thad" Castle (Alan Ritchson), and team mascot Sammy Cacciatore (Chris Romano), as they navigate the challenges of balancing sports commitments with academics, parties, and personal lives. The series is known for its explicit humor, satirical portrayal of college life, and themes involving partying, alcohol, drugs, and hazing. The show also features Ed Marinaro as Coach Marty Daniels, Frankie Shaw as Mary Jo Cacciatore, and Gabrielle Dennis as Denise Roy. Airing on Spike from 2010 to 2011, the series ran for 3 seasons with a total of 39 episodes. Despite its cancellation after the third season, the show gained a cult following, leading to the release of a feature-length film in 2016.​
