Anacondas: Trail of Blood

This 2009 American made-for-TV horror film, directed by Don E. FauntLeRoy, is the fourth installment in the Anaconda franchise and a direct sequel to the third film. The story picks up shortly after the events of the previous movie, as the surviving pregnant anaconda escapes, and the biotech company Wexel Hall Pharmaceuticals continues its unethical experiments with the life-extension serum derived from the creature’s tissue. The dying and ruthless tycoon Murdoch (John Rhys-Davies) sponsors a new round of research, hoping to use the serum to cure himself. He dispatches a team of mercenaries to track down the anaconda and eliminate any evidence. Meanwhile, returning character Amanda Hayes (Krista Allen) leads a group of scientists who aim to stop the experiments and the monstrous snake. Set in the forests of Romania, the film features a deadly game of cat-and-mouse between scientists, mercenaries, and the unstoppable predator.
