A 2014 American animated superhero action film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams. Set in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo, the story follows 14-year-old prodigy Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter), who is passionate about robotics and participates in underground robot fights. His older brother, Tadashi Hamada (Daniel Henney), aims to channel Hiro's talent constructively and introduces him to his laboratory at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where Hiro meets Tadashi's friends: GoGo Tomago (Jamie Chung), Wasabi (Damon Wayans Jr.), Honey Lemon (Genesis Rodriguez), and Fred (T.J. Miller). Inspired, Hiro creates microbots—tiny robots capable of forming any shape through mental commands. However, tragedy strikes, taking Tadashi's life, leaving Hiro devastated. He discovers that his microbots have been stolen by a mysterious masked villain named Yokai. Alongside Baymax (Scott Adsit), an inflatable medical robot created by Tadashi to provide healthcare, and Tadashi's friends, Hiro forms a superhero team to uncover Yokai's identity and thwart his evil plans. The film blends elements of action, comedy, and drama, exploring themes of friendship, loss, and responsibility.
