At the same time, an obscure science fiction writer, Kilgore Trout (Albert Finney), arrives in town, known for his bizarre and absurd literary ideas. Their paths cross, and Dwayne begins interpreting Trout’s work as a literal guide to life. This chaotic and grotesque narrative explores themes of capitalism, advertising, madness, and the meaning of existence.
