A Chinese multiplayer online first-person shooter developed by Tencent Games in collaboration with Activision and released exclusively for the Chinese market. The game was based on mechanics and content from previous Call of Duty titles, including Modern Warfare and Black Ops, blending gameplay elements and maps from different entries. It featured multiple modes, including classic multiplayer, cooperative missions, a zombies mode, and an innovative "Hero Ops" mode where players fought against advanced AI opponents. The monetization system followed a free-to-play model with purchasable cosmetic items, weapons, and progression boosts. Despite its popularity among Chinese players, Call of Duty Online faced competition from other titles and was officially shut down in 2021, making way for Call of Duty: Mobile.
