Captain America: The First Avenger

The 2011 American superhero film, based on Marvel Comics' character Captain America, directed by Joe Johnston, is set during World War II and tells the story of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), a frail young man determined to join the army but deemed unfit due to his health. He volunteers for an experimental program that transforms him into the super-soldier Captain America. Armed with a new body and a vibranium shield, he battles the Nazi organization HYDRA, led by Johann Schmidt, known as the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), who seeks to use the powerful artifact, the Tesseract, for world domination.
