Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

A standalone expansion to Company of Heroes, developed by Relic Entertainment, introducing two new factions and campaigns. Players can command the British 2nd Army during the Battle of Caen or take control of the elite German Panzer Elite forces in Operation Market Garden. Unlike the American forces in the base game, the British rely on defensive strategies, mobile headquarters, and upgradeable units, while the Panzer Elite emphasizes mobility and powerful armored vehicles. The expansion retains all core mechanics of the original game, including dynamic destruction and tactical squad-based combat, but introduces new strategic elements through the distinct abilities of the new armies. Graphics and physics were enhanced with the upgraded Essence Engine 2.0. Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts received critical acclaim for expanding tactical depth and offering diverse campaigns, making the gameplay even more engaging and challenging.
