Critters Attack!

A 2019 American science fiction comedy horror film, serving as a reboot of the "Critters" franchise and the fifth installment in the series. Bobby Miller directed it from a Scott Lobdell script, with Tashiana Washington (Drea), Dee Wallace (Aunt Dee), Jaeden Noel (Phillip), Jack Fulton (Jake) and Ava Preston (Trissy) in the starring roles. The plot follows college student Drea, who agrees to babysit two teenagers, Phillip and Trissy. During an outing, they discover a white alien creature, which they name Bianca, unaware of its extraterrestrial origin. They decide to take Bianca home, but soon encounter aggressive alien creatures known as Crites, who begin terrorizing the area. Drea and the teenagers team up with the mysterious Aunt Dee, who has experience combating these creatures, to confront the threat and save their town from the Crite invasion. The film is notable for the return of actress Dee Wallace, who reprises her role from the original 1986 film, now appearing as Aunt Dee with a history of battling Crites. Unlike previous installments, this film received an R rating due to increased levels of violence and gore.
