An American independent low-budget dramedy from 2005, directed by actor and filmmaker Scott Coffey, who also served as writer, producer, cinematographer, and played one of the roles. The lead role was performed by Naomi Watts, who also produced the film. The story follows an aspiring Australian actress, Ellie Parker (Naomi Watts), striving to build a career in Hollywood. Her days are filled with endless auditions and tryouts, where her acting skills are praised, and callbacks are promised but never materialize. Her boyfriend, Justin (Mark Pellegrino), spends time at home composing rock songs and playing the electric guitar, failing to provide her with adequate support. Ellie's best friend, Sam (Rebecca Rigg), attends acting classes with her but is more interested in design. One day, during one of her city drives, Ellie's car is hit by Chris's (Scott Coffey) vehicle, who introduces himself as a cinematographer. They exchange phone numbers, and soon Ellie discovers that Justin is cheating on her with a girl conducting a casting. She breaks up with him and starts getting closer to Chris, who invites her to a friend's band's concert. After the concert, heavily intoxicated, Ellie wakes up in Chris's car on the outskirts of the city. Gradually, her attempts to land a role remain unsuccessful, and she contemplates her future, deciding to quit acting. However, her agent informs her of a new audition, which she decides to attend. The film was shot using a handheld digital camera, giving it a documentary style and emphasizing the realism of the events.
