About a Boy​

A 2002 American-British comedy-drama directed by Paul and Chris Weitz, based on the novel by Nick Hornby, follows the life of Will Freeman (Hugh Grant), a wealthy and carefree bachelor living off royalties from his father's Christmas song. Will avoids responsibility and serious relationships, preferring casual encounters. In search of new romantic interests, he attends a single parents' group, pretending to be a single father, and meets 12-year-old Marcus Brewer (Nicholas Hoult), an introverted boy dealing with bullying and his mother Fiona's (Toni Collette) depression.
