Firstborn

The 1984 American psychological drama directed by Michael Apted centers on sixteen-year-old Jake Livingston (Christopher Collet), who has taken on the role of man of the house following his parents' divorce. Living with his mother Wendy (Teri Garr) and younger brother Brian (Corey Haim), Jake's life is upended when Wendy starts dating Sam (Peter Weller), a charming yet dubious man who soon moves in.
