American short documentary film from 1998, directed by actor Brendan Kelly, for whom this work became his directorial debut. The film tells the story of a dog named Franky, owned by Kelly himself, who lands one of the leading roles in director Michael Bay's blockbuster Armageddon. Inspired by his pet’s success, Kelly decides to document Franky's journey to Hollywood, from a first-class flight to interactions with movie industry stars. The film features Bruce Willis, Liv Tyler, Steve Buscemi, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Michael Bay, who play themselves and interact with Franky. The film premiered in June 1999 at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York, where it won the Audience Award in the short film category.
