Ghost

An American supernatural romantic film from 1990, directed by Jerry Zucker. The plot revolves around Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze), a successful banker, and his beloved Molly Jensen (Demi Moore), a talented sculptor, who move into a new apartment in Manhattan, planning their future together. One night, while returning home from the theater, they are attacked by a mugger, Willie Lopez (Rick Aviles). Sam struggles with him and is fatally wounded, becoming a ghost, invisible and unable to interact with the living world. Remaining on earth, Sam discovers that his death was not accidental but part of a conspiracy involving money laundering, in which his colleague and friend Carl Bruner (Tony Goldwyn) is implicated. Trying to protect Molly from impending danger, Sam seeks help from Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg), a fraudulent medium who unexpectedly discovers she can actually communicate with spirits. Together, they attempt to uncover the criminal plot and save Molly, facing numerous obstacles and dangers. The film combines elements of romance, drama, and the supernatural, exploring themes of love, betrayal, and life after death.
