Guitar Hero Live is a reboot of the iconic rhythm game series, developed by the British studio FreeStyleGames and released in 2015. Unlike previous entries, the game introduced a new six-button guitar controller, adding more complexity and realism to the gameplay. Its standout feature was the use of live-action video from a first-person perspective, where players performed in front of a real audience that dynamically reacted to their performance. The game featured two main modes: "GH Live," a story-driven campaign where players progressed as musicians performing at festivals, and "GHTV," a unique streaming service offering an ever-expanding catalog of songs that could be played at any time. The soundtrack included both classic rock and modern hits, featuring artists like The Rolling Stones, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, and Skrillex. Guitar Hero Live was released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and iOS, but the GHTV service was shut down in 2018, significantly reducing the available content.
