Hero and the Terror

An American thriller with action elements, released in 1988 and directed by William Tannen. The film follows Detective Danny O'Brien (Chuck Norris), who earns the nickname "Hero" after successfully capturing the notorious serial killer Simon Moon (Jack O'Halloran), known as "The Terror." Time passes, and Danny tries to return to a normal life, building a relationship with his girlfriend Kay (Brynn Thayer) and preparing for the birth of their child. However, peace is short-lived when mysterious murders begin occurring at the newly restored Palladium theater. Danny soon realizes that Moon, believed to be dead, might have returned. The detective must once again confront his arch-nemesis, overcome his own fears, and protect innocent lives. The plot blends tension and drama, delving into the protagonist's inner struggles, his battle with societal pressure, and his attempts to maintain close relationships amidst the constant threat of danger.
