Hellbound

A 1994 American supernatural thriller directed by Aaron Norris. The story follows two Chicago police detectives: Sergeant Frank Shatter (Chuck Norris) and Detective Calvin Jackson (Calvin Levels), assigned to investigate the brutal murder of a rabbi. Their investigation leads them to Israel, where they confront an ancient evil—Satan's emissary named Prosatanos (Christopher Neame), who seeks to regain his lost power. Prosatanos was imprisoned in an underground tomb during the Crusades by King Richard I (David Robb), who shattered his scepter into nine pieces and hid them in sacred sites around the world. However, in the late 20th century, Prosatanos is inadvertently freed by unsuspecting tomb raiders and begins searching for the pieces of his scepter to restore his power and dominate the world. Shatter and Jackson must confront Prosatanos, thwart his plans, and save humanity from impending doom. The film also features Leslie Hawkins (Sheree J. Wilson), who assists the detectives in their mission. "Hellbound" combines elements of action and mysticism, exploring themes of good versus evil, faith and skepticism, and the trials of friendship and courage in the face of supernatural forces.
