A 1991 American action film directed by Sheldon Lettich. The film follows twin brothers Chad and Alex Wagner (both played by Jean-Claude Van Damme), who were separated as infants after the brutal murder of their parents. Their father, an American entrepreneur overseeing the construction of a tunnel in Hong Kong, was assassinated by crime lord Raymond Zhang (Philip Chan), who was working in collusion with corrupt businessman Nigel Griffith (Alan Scarfe). Baby Chad is rescued by the family’s loyal friend Frank Avery (Geoffrey Lewis) and taken to California, where he grows up training in martial arts. Meanwhile, Alex remains in Hong Kong, forced to survive on the streets, eventually becoming a smuggler hardened by a life of crime. Twenty-five years later, Frank reveals the truth to Chad, and they travel to Hong Kong to find Alex. However, the reunion is far from smooth, as the brothers have completely different personalities—Chad is disciplined, well-groomed, and mild-mannered, while Alex is tough, rough-edged, and streetwise. Despite their differences, they must join forces to avenge their parents' deaths and take down Zhang and Griffith's criminal empire. Along the way, they face numerous adversaries, including Zhang’s brutal enforcer Kara (Bolo Yeung). In the final showdown, the brothers engage in a fierce battle, ultimately eliminating their enemies and reclaiming their family’s honor. The film is notable for its dynamic fight scenes, thrilling shootouts, and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s impressive ability to portray two distinctly different characters.
