Death Warrant

A 1990 American action film directed by Deran Sarafian. The story follows Detective Louis Burke (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a police officer assigned an extremely dangerous undercover mission: infiltrating the "Harrison" prison to investigate a series of mysterious inmate murders. Disguised as a convict, Burke quickly finds himself entangled in the brutal prison hierarchy controlled by both corrupt guards and ruthless criminal gangs. The climax of the film features an intense showdown between Burke and The Sandman (Patrick Kilpatrick), a psychopathic killer who has been terrorizing the inmates and serving as the enforcer of the corrupt system. Using his martial arts expertise, Burke defeats The Sandman, exposes the conspiracy, and manages to escape the prison, successfully completing his mission.
