Russian singer, poet, and artist, born on April 29, 1977, in Kentau, Kazakh SSR. In the early 1990s, she moved to Moscow, where she began her musical career under the pseudonym Linda. Her style combines elements of trip-hop, electronic, ethnic, and rock music, distinguishing her on the Russian music scene. In 1994, she started collaborating with composer and producer Maxim Fadeev, resulting in her debut album "Songs of Tibetan Lamas" (1994), which received critical and audience acclaim. Her greatest success came with the album "Crow" (1996), which sold over 3.5 million copies, making Linda one of the most popular artists of the 1990s in Russia. After parting ways with Fadeev in the early 2000s, she began writing music and lyrics independently, collaborating with various musicians, including Evgeny Pozdnyakov, Mara, and Lyubasha. In 2012, she married Greek composer Stefanos Korkolis, with whom she recorded the album "AleAda," combining Russian and Greek musical traditions. They later divorced in 2014. In 2015, Linda founded the project Bloody Faeries and released the album "Acoustics by Bloody Faeries." In 2016, she released the album "LAI, @!," which received critical acclaim and was awarded Music Box's Best Album of the Year. In 2017, she released the single "Kind Song" in collaboration with Gleb Samoylov. Throughout her career, she has sold over 5 million copies of albums in Russia. Linda continues to actively perform, record new music, and remains a significant figure in the Russian music scene.
