A 2021 Russian drama film directed by Vladimir Bitokov. The plot unfolds in Nalchik, where Antonina (Ksenia Rappoport), a bus driver, receives news of her only son's death; he had been fighting in Syria as part of a private military company. Offered compensation and asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, Antonina refuses to believe in her son's death and embarks on her own investigation, facing indifference and resistance from authorities. To deter her, a young man (Yuri Borisov) posing as her son is sent to her. Gradually, a bond forms between them, and the impostor begins to assist her in seeking the truth. The film explores themes of maternal love, bureaucratic apathy, and personal responsibility.
