Monsters, Inc.

A 2001 animated film by Pixar, directed by Pete Docter. The story takes place in Monstropolis, a city inhabited by monsters who generate energy from children's screams. The main characters are the large but kind-hearted monster James "Sulley" Sullivan (voiced by John Goodman / Alexey Kolgan) and his best friend, the mischievous and witty one-eyed monster Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal / Alexander Lenkov). They work at the "Monsters, Inc." factory, scaring children, but their routine is disrupted when a little girl named Boo (voiced by Mary Gibbs / Lyudmila Ilyina) accidentally enters their world, causing chaos. As the story unfolds, they discover that children's laughter is far more powerful than their screams, leading them to challenge the existing system.
