The 2004 American animated superhero film, produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures, follows a family of superheroes attempting to lead a normal suburban life. Bob Parr (voiced by Craig T. Nelson), known as Mr. Incredible, and his wife Helen (Holly Hunter), known as Elastigirl, were forced to abandon their superhero activities due to public pressure and government mandates. Fifteen years later, they live ordinary lives with their three children: Violet (Sarah Vowell), who can become invisible and create force fields; Dash (Spencer Fox), who possesses super speed; and infant Jack-Jack, whose powers have yet to manifest. Bob, longing for his past life, accepts a secret mission from a mysterious employer, unaware that it's a trap set by his former fan Buddy Pine (Jason Lee), now known as Syndrome. Syndrome plans to eliminate all superheroes and become the sole recognized hero. When Bob is captured, Helen sets out to rescue him, bringing their children along. Together, they confront Syndrome and his robots, saving the city from destruction and restoring public trust in superheroes. The film explores themes of family values, responsibility, and embracing one's true nature.
