Mortal Kombat Gold

An expanded edition of Mortal Kombat 4, released exclusively for the Dreamcast. Mortal Kombat Gold retained the gameplay and graphics of the original but introduced several new characters, including Baraka, Sektor, Mileena, Cyrax, and Kitana, along with new cutscenes and improved visual effects. Core mechanics, such as weapon usage and 3D sidestepping, remained unchanged, but the game's higher resolution and enhanced character rendering made it look significantly better than Mortal Kombat 4. Despite its improvements, Mortal Kombat Gold faced criticism for technical issues in early versions, but over time, it became one of the most notable entries in the series available on the Dreamcast.
