Mortal Kombat

It features seven playable characters, including Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage. Mortal Kombat stood out from other fighting games due to its realistic graphics created using digitized images of actors and its high level of violence, including the iconic fatalities — finishing moves that became the series' trademark. The combat system includes punches, kicks, blocks, special moves, and finishing mechanics.
