Mystic River

The 2003 American neo-noir mystery drama film, directed and produced by Clint Eastwood, is based on the novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane. The story focuses on three childhood friends from Boston — Jimmy Markum (Sean Penn), Dave Boyle (Tim Robbins), and Sean Devine (Kevin Bacon), whose lives were altered by a tragic incident in their youth.
