The 2024 Irish horror film, written and directed by Damian McCarthy, follows blind medium and curiosity shop owner Darcy Odello, who is still mourning her twin sister Dani, murdered a year prior. One day, a wooden mannequin arrives at her shop, becoming central to uncovering the mystery of her sister's death. The film begins with Dani, wife of psychiatrist Ted Timmis, being brutally murdered in their new country house. Olin Boole, a former patient of Ted's, visited Dani that evening and is the prime suspect, but he is later found dead. A year later, Ted visits Darcy at her shop in Cork, giving her Olin's glass eye, which she attempts to read. Days later, Darcy unexpectedly arrives at Ted's country house, where he now lives with his new girlfriend Yana. Before her arrival, a large crate containing a wooden mannequin is delivered to the house. When Ted leaves for his night shift at the hospital, Darcy stays with Yana, who begins noticing the mannequin inexplicably changing positions and discovers photographs of the sisters, locks of hair, and other ominous items inside it. Terrified, Yana tries to leave but encounters Dani's apparition and other unexplainable phenomena. The film explores themes of grief, the supernatural, and family secrets, creating an atmosphere of tension and mystery.
