Palia

Palia is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) developed and published by Singularity 6. The game combines elements of life simulation and role-playing, offering players the opportunity to build and customize their homes, engage in crafting, gardening, and explore a picturesque fantasy world. Players assume the role of humans who have suddenly appeared in the world of Majiri and join local villages, aiming to become part of their community. Palia lacks traditional combat mechanics; instead, it focuses on social interaction, cooperation, and peaceful activities such as fishing, hunting, foraging, mining, insect catching, cooking, furniture making, and gardening. The game is free-to-play with optional cosmetic purchases available for real money. Palia entered open beta testing for Windows in August 2023, with a Nintendo Switch version released in December 2023. In March 2024, the game was launched on Steam. In December 2024, the "Holiday Homestead" update was released, introducing board games, new furniture color options, and seasonal events like snowball fights in the town square.
