Piter FM​

A 2006 Russian romantic comedy directed by Oksana Bychkova. The film follows two young individuals in Saint Petersburg: Masha Emelyanova (Yekaterina Fedulova), a popular radio host at "Piter FM," and Maksim Vasilyev (Yevgeny Tsyganov), a talented architect. Masha is preparing to marry Kostya (Aleksei Barabash), her school friend, but she has doubts about this decision. Maksim wins a prestigious architectural competition and receives an offer to work in Germany, but he's uncertain about leaving Russia. Fate brings them together when Masha loses her mobile phone, and Maksim finds it. As they try to return the phone, they communicate over calls but continually miss the chance to meet in person. Through these conversations, they begin to rethink their life choices and feelings. The film is imbued with the atmosphere of Saint Petersburg, highlighting the city's streets and courtyards, emphasizing its role as the third main character in the story.​
