A 1979 American comedy directed by Michael Schultz, the film centers on the aftermath of eccentric game inventor Milton Parker's (Vincent Price) death. His relatives and household staff gather at his mansion to hear the will, only to learn from attorney Charles Bernstein (Robert Morley) that the $200 million inheritance will go to the team that wins a "scavenger hunt" devised by Parker. The competition involves collecting various items that cannot simply be purchased. Five teams are formed: widowed son-in-law Henry Motley (Tony Randall) with his four children; the household staff, including chef Henri (James Coco), butler Jenkins (Roddy McDowall), chauffeur Jackson (Cleavon Little), and maid Babbette (Stephanie Faracy); taxi driver Marvin Dummitz (Richard Mulligan); Parker's sister Mildred Carruthers (Cloris Leachman) with her son Georgie (Richard Masur) and attorney Stuart Selsome (Richard Benjamin); and nephews Kenny (Willie Aames) and Jeff Stevens (Dirk Benedict) with stepdaughter Lisa (Maureen Teefy). The teams embark on a series of comedic escapades involving theft, disguises, and absurd adventures. The film also features appearances by Arnold Schwarzenegger as bodybuilder Lars, Meat Loaf, and other notable actors.
