Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

A 2010 American romantic action-comedy film directed by Edgar Wright, based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel series "Scott Pilgrim". The film follows Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), a 22-year-old bassist for the Toronto indie rock band Sex Bob-Omb. Scott is dating 17-year-old high school student Knives Chau (Ellen Wong) but soon falls for the mysterious American delivery girl Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). As Scott battles through these confrontations, he realizes the need to confront his own feelings and personal shortcomings to earn the right to be with Ramona. The film combines elements of video games and comic books, creating a unique visual style and narrative.
