Tale of the Nine Tailed

A fantasy romance TV series that premiered in 2020. The story follows Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook), a mythical nine-tailed fox (gumiho) who once ruled as a guardian spirit of the mountains but now lives among humans, carrying out missions to eliminate supernatural beings that threaten the world. His path crosses with Nam Ji-ah (Jo Bo-ah), a determined and brave producer of a TV show about urban legends, who suspects that Lee Yeon may be connected to the tragic death of her parents. Also playing a key role is Lee Rang (Kim Bum), Lee Yeon's half-brother, who despises humans and seeks revenge on his older brother for his choices. The series blends mysticism, romance, and action while drawing from Korean folklore.
