The Boys

A sharp satirical superhero TV series based on the comic of the same name. In a world where superheroes are not selfless protectors but highly paid celebrities with dark secrets, the corporation "Vought International" controls the elite team known as "The Seven." The main character, Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), loses his girlfriend due to the reckless actions of a superhero, leading him to meet Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) — a charismatic vigilante with a deep hatred for supes. Billy recruits Hughie into his team, "The Boys," a group of vengeful outcasts determined to expose "The Seven" and the corporation behind them. However, facing the powerful and ruthless Homelander (Antony Starr) turns into a deadly game. The show explores themes of power, corruption, media manipulation, and moral ambiguity.
