The Bucket List

A 2007 American comedy-drama directed by Rob Reiner. The film follows two elderly men, Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson) and Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman), who, upon learning of their terminal diagnoses, decide to create a list of things they want to accomplish before they die. Edward is a billionaire hospital magnate, while Carter is a simple auto mechanic, well-read and knowledgeable. Despite their differing social statuses, they bond while sharing a hospital room. Together, they embark on a journey to fulfill their dreams: visiting the Egyptian pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, and other destinations. Throughout their travels, they not only check off items from their list but also reassess their lives, relationships with loved ones, and discover the true meaning of happiness.
