The Gorge

A 2025 American science fiction action film with elements of romantic drama, directed by Scott Derrickson. Former Marine and elite sniper Levi Cain (Miles Teller) accepts a top-secret assignment to spend a year in complete isolation at a watchtower located on the edge of a massive gorge. His mission is to eliminate any creatures attempting to escape from the abyss. On the opposite side of the gorge, in a similar tower, is Lithuanian sniper Drasa (Anya Taylor-Joy). They are strictly forbidden from contacting each other, but loneliness and curiosity lead them to start communicating, forming an emotional bond. Gradually, their relationship develops into something more, despite the dangers and mysteries lurking in the depths of the gorge. The film received positive reviews from critics for its original plot and the chemistry between the main characters.
