The Last Detail

The 1973 American comedy-drama directed by Hal Ashby follows two Navy petty officers, Billy "Bad Ass" Buddusky (Jack Nicholson) and "Mule" Mulhall (Otis Young), assigned to escort young sailor Larry Meadows (Randy Quaid) from Norfolk, Virginia, to the Portsmouth Naval Prison in New Hampshire.
