The Last Stop in Yuma County

The American neo-Western crime thriller, directed by Francis Galluppi in his feature directorial debut, presents a tense narrative set in the 1970s in the desert region of Yuma County, Arizona. The story begins with a traveling knife salesman stopping at a remote gas station, where he learns from the attendant, Vernon, that the pumps are dry and the nearest station is over 100 miles away. While waiting for a fuel truck to arrive, he enters a nearby diner and meets waitress Charlotte. Soon, they are joined by two bank robbers, Travis and Beau, on the run after a recent heist. Tension escalates as it becomes clear that the criminals are willing to do whatever it takes to escape, and the ordinary patrons of the diner find themselves caught in a dangerous struggle for survival.
