The Lovely Bones

A 2009 American fantasy drama film directed by Peter Jackson, based on Alice Sebold's novel of the same name. The story follows 14-year-old Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan), who lives in Pennsylvania in 1973. After she is murdered by her neighbor George Harvey (Stanley Tucci), Susie finds herself in an intermediate world between life and death.
