The Sixties​

A documentary miniseries that premiered on CNN on May 29, 2014. Produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman through Playtone, the 10-part series explores key events and cultural phenomena in the United States during the 1960s, including the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the Vietnam War, the civil rights movement, the space race, the British Invasion, and the sexual revolution. The series achieved high ratings and initiated a sequence of CNN documentary projects covering subsequent decades: "The Seventies," "The Eighties," "The Nineties," "The 2000s," and "The 2010s" .​
