Two Many Chefs

A 2022 Spanish comedy directed by Joaquín Mazón with a screenplay by Joaquín Oristrell. Set in Bilbao, the story follows young chef Mikel (Enric Auquer) as he struggles to keep his restaurant afloat. Unexpectedly, his father Juan (Karra Elejalde), who disappeared 30 years ago, reappears. Juan, a former chef, suffers from a mental condition that prevents him from recognizing the time gap and his son. Mikel must care for his deranged father while trying to save his business. The film also stars Megan Montaner as Nagore, Lander Otaola, Maribel Salas, Gorka Aguinagalde, and Manuel Burque. It premiered on September 8, 2022, at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and was theatrically released in Spain on September 16, 2022.
